killjoy

as they burst out laughing i could do nothing but just smile..

then comes the question of;

'why suff why?'

i replied;
'to start anew my friend.. to start anew.. '

it has always been my personal philosophy that life is all about change, without change how would you measure the how you've lived your life.

yes.

i am the bloke whom you'd hardly recognize after 4 years..

and the 4 years after that.. and the years that follows..

apparently word on the street is i'm married with a kid.

scented, flaky

my two lil feet willing to walk the distance,
calculative my mind tell me it is possible and probable,
twitchy and relentless impulses of electric in my arms,
i took my stride,
believing yet not wanting,
as each stroke went by,
i feel light headed,
when will it end?

i've lost the scent which i normally fall asleep to.. tis gonna be a long night.

'i wanna lead a simple life from now on..'

people look at me funny whenever i say this. fact is that they dont understand what i mean of a simple life. i am tired. tired of the obsessive habit that i have for planning. thinking of what be the best next move every 10 seconds. setting up a plan b whenever plan a fails. pushing past the average breaking point. trying to break every barrier up ahead.

yes. it is a positive trait.

but i need my time off.

so obsessive is this trait that i plan my day every night before i sleep.

--

uniquely eccentric.

i can do digits but i hated accounts.

i totally dig people who are artsy yet i cant draw for nuts.

if i had a wish to change this world, i'd make it vividly negative in color. black to white and the likes of it.

divide and conquer was the idea. yet its turned into diversify and fumble.

multiple choices, multiple traits. perhaps it was better to just stick with one.

a straight line.

occasionally curving, but mostly straight.

when the road ahead seems unclear

often people make their decisions on what they perceive would be the best option, even when most of the facts and figures are still amidst. yet once they've gone pass the part of decision making. half the time their chosen decision sticks with them completely. not wanting to change, probably stubborn to listen as well.

i always hated the idea of word of mouth, its biased and forever missing facts .. yet in this life. word of mouth is still one of the best mediums to communicate .. bleh!

but when news travels faster than bbc's live football telecast. i am dumbfounded to either feel angry or just let it roll. as people's presumptuous nature are just plane idiotic and baffling, letting it dissolve sometimes can be fun ..

but i know their intentions are kind and good in nature. so who am i to judge and say no.

seems like theres more to this sub plot b character ..

'i want to, but i cant, i shouldnt, i wouldnt, i wont.. i wont, i shouldnt, i wouldnt, i cant .. i wouldnt, i cant, i wouldnt , i wont.. i shouldnt, i wont, i cant, i wouldnt, i cant, i shouldnt, i wont, i couldnt.. i cant, i shouldnt, i wouldnt, i wont.. i shouldnt, i wouldnt, i wont.. i wont .. i wont.. n95

i mentioned in my earlier post that the pictures were taken using my n95..

hehe. which i forgot to mention that i had for a month or so now.

my old o2 mini S has served me well, till last month or so when o2 rang up to inquire if i wanted an upgrade(renew contract). so i said yea i did, listened to what they had to offer and what not.

but at the time, the deal wasnt a steal. if i wanted an n95, i had to pay a certain sum for the phone. though i was willing since the price of the phone is enough to cover the cost for the bill for a year. but with the blood of a malaysian boiling strong inside of me, i said no and waited for a better deal to come by.

which it did!

a few days afterwards, a whole new package was available for me to get the n95 without paying the extra sum for the phone.

didnt take long for me to make that visit to the o2 shop.

whilst i liked my mini S, i decided that i'd sent it back to malaysia for my dad to use.

on the whole, the n95 is just brilliant. the applications available is incredible. though like all new gadgets to come off the market, there has to be a flaw. which for the n95 was the battery. the phone has too many applications that it sucks the battery dry in about 2-3 days tops. depending on how you use the phone. use the camera and video for more than 20 minutes, then the battery's gonna be dead in about 10 minutes later.

which is bad, but think about it. n95 is suppose to be a phone and not a camcorder. if you wanted to record something continuously, get a camcorder. :D

a week after i got the n95, i felt that 1gb wasnt enough for a phone this hightech, so i browsed the net and found out that sandisk had introduced a 4gb card. it was great news, less than 10 minutes of surfing, amazon.co.uk was selling em for quite reasonable. so without hesitation, i bought myself a 4gb card to fulfill all those camwhoring and musiquejunkie needs of mine.

the n95 has lotsa more applications which i dont really use daily like gps mapping, wifi and loads others. so if your interested on those, i'd suggest surfing the web to find out. dont ask me. :D

striped

as the cold wind swept in, i pulled the duvet over my head. not wanting to wake up and face the world..

then a sharp buzz came from underneath the pillow.

switching off the alarm, it was already 10am.

as i sat on the corner of my bed, it dawned on me how nice it was to wake up at 10am on a tuesday, since i normally have to be at work at 6.45am on a normal day. but today wasnt a normal day. there was much to do.

so i washed myself and read through my notes and slowly trotted off to meet my project lecturer. this would be my third visit to his office and today would mark the first commencement of the actual thing.

he offered me biscuits as i walked into his office, declining i explained that i was fasting. he nodded and mentioned that i must be longing for the fasting to be over, so i'd be able to celebrate 'Hari Raya'.

amused. i've forgotten that he wasnt like most of the ignorant brits who knew nothing about malaysia.

within the next few minutes, he mentioned 5 maybe even 6 complex equations which i simply nodded whilst my brain dug deep trying to remember how each function worked.

'this is gonna be tough', i thought

as the minutes ticked by, i took notes of what i didnt have a clue about so i'd look em up later.

finally it was over.

what seemed like a long time, was actually just 30 minutes.

as i picked myself up, closing the door behind me. i took slow strides. rambling to myself, the equations and solutions, the technicality and brilliance of the project. it was a hard project, but i liked it. i wanted it.

so i guess i have to stick with it and work hard.

-

a few hours later back in my room.

my phone buzzed again, this time a reminder icon popping up.

it was time.

putting on a pin-striped shirt, i realize that i was wearing a striped boxers as well. tickled by the coincident. i sat down in front of my pc and read up on what was needed for the last time. then, off i was for my interview.

i arrived early, getting my things together. folders out, jacket folded to the side. a quick visit to the loo, just to make sure i looked presentable.

3 minutes to time, i knocked on the door and went in...

--

overall, it was okay. i'd reckon i couldnt of done any better.

saying my thank you's and good bye's, they said they'd get back to me earliest by next week.

crossing my fingers. hopefully i'd get the job.

till then.

bye!

p/s: btw, the picture above was taken using my n95 :D
