here i am again, sat infront of my computer tapping away on the keyboard wasting time, when i should be studying for my papers next week.
my heads just messed up on some things that i cant seem to focus for now.
i hate this.
here i am again, sat infront of my computer tapping away on the keyboard wasting time, when i should be studying for my papers next week.
my heads just messed up on some things that i cant seem to focus for now.
i hate this.
sitting infront of my laptop. i feel awkward, like i want to do something yet im not sure what.
i feel like talking to someone, yet there isnt any topic in mind.
hurm.
probably the lack of sleep talking.
meeting up with some friends today, the topic of high school cropped up.
relinquishing the whole persona of high school which seemed so long ago. the battles of then that looked so idiotic now. assuming which, i'm sure that you all know where i'm heading to with this and i'm pretty much sure that you guys are sick and tired of reading about it..
but as the 3 of us sat at that table, rambling about how we were. it wasnt more of a remembering or reliving the past. it was actually us trying to run away from the current hatred towards the stress and responsibility of the present.
it used to be so easy!
the struggle of grades, though i wouldnt say i was the brightest of kids then with my exceptional attitude towards school and homework which went kinda like, 'ughhhh! how much i loath youuuuuu!'
it was different, that struggle didnt seemed so high risked. or perhaps it didnt seem so at the time. now time has brought age and maturity with the added bonus of responsibility on each shoulder. the battles are now different.
each wager has its cost and rewards, failure meant death is some ways.
yet somehow, i've lost a certain psychological push which was in me a few months ago. perhaps i need some time off to reset. but with time on the opposite side of the field, it cannot wait.
so as i stare blankly at my monitor, thinking about the past. twiddling my thumbs trying to find the epiphany of wisdom, which once smacked me on the head pushing me towards the right direction..
it doesnt help either when you linger amongst the boffins in class, how they mumble about theories and maths which does click in your head as well. yet when it came to exams, their always getting higher marks.
you ponder, 'there must be a mistake somewhere.. but where?'
ARGH!

so yea,
instead of doing work on a full stomach. i decided to rest my head which i ended up dozing off to a 2 hour nap.
grreeeaaat!
i just wasted like another half an hour trying to figure out where should i start. now i'm making myself some good ol coffee for my dosage of caffeine so i do my work. either that or stay up till i actually do something productive.
ah good ol smell of coffee hits my nostrils. mmmm..
in my younger youth, i didnt actually fancy coffee, it has always been tea. watching my dad drink his tea after every meal, hitting the mamak-stalls which to me was synonym to 'teh-o-ais/teh-ais'(iced tea).
it was only when i had an coffee addict of an ex girlfriend who cherished coffee so much that i sorta changed my taste. though still oblivious and ignorant about the different types of coffee. i simply drank it cause she drank it. yea i know, how weak are guys when it came to their girlfriends.
only in college did the word coffee actually had its perks emerge from the land of daily beverages. the injection of caffeine though mild at the time, sort of cleared my head. gave it a lil umph that made you wide awake and fit enough to finish em last minute late night/early morning assignments.
anyways, enough rambling. coffee's getting cold and i havent started my work yet.
hahahaha.
bye

you wanna know whats gluttony?
gluttony is when you cook yourself an extra portion for lunch with the intention of that extra portion to be dinner. yet whilst muching down on the late lunch, you decided to finish everything off.
now i'm so full.
4 drumsticks, 2 large plates of rice and a huge portion of veggie's.
so full that i've designated myself in my chair in a 'laid-back' position and after taking my meds. i now feel drowsy, i'll probably end up not doing any work.
again.
which is not good.
must. do. work. today.
must. not. sleep.
*burp
woops! :D

i admit, i am a stingy bugger.
95% of the time i buy things only when their on sale. i window shop quite often, but i hardly buy anything unless my brain has calculated it to be something really worth having.
whilst others have succumbed to the earning in pounds so why not syndrome. i still like to calculate everything down to the last penny. after thinking about it, i reckon it runs in the family, cus my sister is stingy about money as well.
har har !
it is good financial practice though :)
so yea, after 3 long weeks of only heartbreak, with one bad news after the other. i was scratching my head to think when will the silver lining every come. finally it did today.
today, my bursary was finally credited into my account and when i went to check my letters. i saw my name being highlighted twice in the package section. to my surprise, my england jersey has arrived together with it is my laptop which has been sorely missed.
tada! england jersey! whats the difference you might ask, well this england jersey is a commemoratives one, England vs Brazil the first game to be played in the new Wembley stadium. it even has a official wembley patch by the side, which made it standout from the rest of the commemorative jerseys.
i didnt actually want to buy it so soon, but turns out they were going off quite fast with the S size being the last. but it was worth it cus its sure as hell is a keeper.

back (wanted to put Theo's name on it, but he wasnt even on the bench during that game.)
