i find it amusing that 2 years back this is now i looked like. haha. fact of the matter is i must admit that i do have a pretty boy face. sigh.


people often mistaken this for a white gold/platinum ring. nay people, its merely a tungsten ring. however what it represents is what matters. not the material, not the cost.


i guess by now you've noticed that i'm actually testing out my new 2010 lens. haha. it is awesomes maximus by the way.


my half working earphones. for the pricetag on these babies.. i seriously feel being ripped is an understatement. non the less, most of the thing i own i'll use em till either they split apart or stop working completely..

the engagement

after much request i guess its okay to finally publish some pictures and pray that that certain somebody doesnt complain and by then the pictures will have to come down. :P

anyways, the whole ceremony was a small one. it is more of a 'introduction of parents' + unofficial engagement without any extended family.

on my side it was just me and my parents, whilst on her side it was her parents and her. her siblings were around but they werent part of the discussion ;p

overall it was a smooth ceremony, alhamdulillah. both parents, mine and her were satisfied with the discussion and arrangement and will look forward for the next arrangement.

without realizing

came february meant that i've already been back in malaysia for a year. some might say that new years has past however, to me my new year started when i got back home. :)

it has been a good journey, lots of endearing moment. some good some bad. mostly immeasurable.

There were points where i thought of returning to uk where life was just about you yourself n you again. It was a selfish thought i admit but when i came to my senses i realized this is where i belong at home.

Just to share a few highlights in the passed year;
- after 6 months of separation, it was just awesome to see her. Words really could not describe the feeling.
- catching up on long lost friends brought back so man memories its sometimes hard to believe im this old already. Haha
- struggled badly with the recession and couldnt get a job as quickly qs i thought. Even came to a point friendships were broken and i waited 6 months and sat for only 4-5 interviews before getting a job
- had to make a decision which effected my whole career/life
- discovered i had a growth in my back which was the cause of my recurring back pain. Taking my tally of going into the surgerical ward to 3 times. Went under full anaestetics and this time under the knife to remove the growth.
- started my career life and realized that im now a full fledged adult earning and contributing to the country? Haha more like getting paid at the end of the month.
- job brought me places i never imagined visiting.
- enjoyed/ cherished the time spent with her
- kept to my word and got engaged with the love of my life.

So i guess it has truly been a long and meaningful year back in malaysia. =)

Hopefully theres more good times to come.

random

spent the whole day sleeping. a sort of reminiscence of the days of bumming but its also a forecast of days to come without her. she'll be back tomorrow i know, but i cant help but feel 4 days sleeping at home is such a waste. sigh.




not many people know this(including myself) that there was actually a limited edition 50 years merdeka printed on the back of the 50 ringgit note and apparently they are now collectibles worth about 80 ringgit with a potential to rise in value with time .. hurmm should we all start collection money now? or perhaps just take time to appreciate the design on the note :D



uber excited for the next f1 race in malaysia. i'm hoping i'll be able to get grandstand seats, even if it means me sitting with some Buyers and entertaining their petty needs :D

cny 2010

happy chinese new year people.

as i try to revamp this blog, the more i find it more difficult. words are harder to come out and by the looks of it. defineatly my writing has gone for the worst. haha. i guess it happens when you've stop reading books for so long and even longer at blogging.

guess a lot has happen in the past year.

potentially, you should probably see a lot more posts towards the end of this month as my significant other will be in UK by then and demands me to blog more often for her.

so her wish is my command with the hopes that she will do so too. :)

anyways, it is already 2.45am and i plan to wake up tomorrow in hopes for a good jog since it has already been a week since my last quick run. i have after all gone super fat since last time. heh heh.

the chubby one

i've always enjoyed playing with the little one. this one especially is about 9 months old and she somehow finds my black framed glasses dubious. she'll stare whenever i'm around and when i pick her up, she'll give this expression of 'who are you and why are you holding me..? with a slight frown expression'







non the less she does bring a big smile whenever she's around.. and she clears the room as well whenever she cries.. :D
