this is sorta a day late.. cus the server was acting up yesterday i couldnt upload anything..

yesterday was the happiest morning i've ever had in the UK..


why? cus it snowed !


i opened my curtains after i woke up to get the morning sun, only to realize that everything was white ! i was soo thrilled i quickly bathed and went out to take pictures straight away !

i was soo caught up playing with the snow i was sorta late for my 10am class.. when i got there it was already 10.05am.. and the lecture had already started.. the fact that the lecturer was really strict about punctuality and makes alot of noise about people coming in late.. i decided to skip that class..

i think i made the right choice.. cus as i was walking back to my room.. it started snowing again..

yesterday was the greatest! i cant wait for it to snow again ! :)

my pictures took ages to load up and it just suddenly went blank..

result day..

i always hated results day..

it had that gloomy feel about it.. especially when you yourself know that you didnt do too well..

it stank of bad results and regrets..

my results were out today.. instead of friday..

it sorta felt like PMR and SPM all over again.. and it didnt felt good..

so as i trotted off to the common room where the results are supposed to be pasted..

i let go any feelings of regret and kept saying to myself; 'bygones be bygones, start the new year fresh'

when i got there, the admin lady was leaning over to paste the results on the board.. meaning i was the first there..

as i slowly searched for my id no, i saw tonnes of people getting really good results.. it was really demoralizing..

when i got to mine .. it was average.. i managed to pass all the subjects.. obviously..

so i slowly tapped the digits into my calculator to find out my average..

i was shit scared and expected to get 2.2(second lower), but ironically i got 2.1(second upper) which was good..

but.. i remembered how i sat for the exams and knew i could do alot better.. now seeing my results though it is a lot better than what i expected, i cant help but feel frustrated ..

that if i did slightly better, i could've gotten first class..

ughh!

plus im having a migrain.. which is just annoying !

couldnt concentrate for shits during lectures today..

anyways.. thats it for now.. lates.

weirdest evah

yesterday i had the weirdest dream ever.. haha. i'm not sure what the hell its suppose to mean.. cus including the day before's.. yesterday was like the second of weird chain dreams.. haha..

now get this..

i dreamt.. that i got married !

hahhahahahah ! i knoww! soo totally outta this world man... to make it even better, i got married to someone whom i dont even know.. yep a fixed marriage! haha. it was sooo funny. plus the girl i got married to was like the total opposite of who i am.. which i found to be really interesting.. cus haha to be frank.. really.. she aint exactly the type i'd fall inlove at first sight with..

haha funny stuff man..

theres more! the whole marriage was like sooo spontaneous.. like i havent even graduated yet and everything.. and we got like married over the phone or sumthing.. hahahha !

i was here and she was like.. i dunno back in malaysia or sumthing..

even better was that my parents didnt object.. haha !

heck they were happy for me !

i had an awesome dream last nite.. only to wake and realize that i was late for class !

i shant say what it was.. as its quite personal anyways.. it was good.. left me thinking abit ..

anyways classes started.. and i've decided what subjects imma gonna take this semester.. i think i'll be taking an extra subject this semester.. just incase i screw anything up last semester..

results are supposed to be out on friday.. and its creeping me out..

this semester is the point turner.. its either do or die this time around.. i've gotta buck up if i wanna get good grades. plus this semester's subject is more indepth and i'd say significantly more interesting than last years..

not to mention more complex, so theres no room for slacking.

combining studies and work something new for me.. i've never had to juggle both on the same day. it was either just work or just studying.. so far its been alrite, getting used to it. but i find that i quite tired by the end of the day..

i have to force myself to sleep by 12 if not i'd have trouble waking up for the next day's 9am class..

so its all about dicipline..

at first i thought what i was doing was already bad enough.. working and studying..

then 10 minutes ago i had a small chat with a mate from the place i was working..

he's name is ricardo, born in portugal but raised and lived in brazil which is awesome.. cus i think those 2 countries are really cool. well perhaps its the football influence talking... anyways, he's only been here since august last year.. which was a month earlier than me.. but before he got here.. he didnt speak a single word of english.. and for what i think, he's making incredible progress for a person who has only been here for 5 months..

anyways, his mom gave him just enough money to come here and if he wants more money..he has to go back to brazil to get it.. so he's now shuffling 2 jobs and studying at the same time.. he works from 7-9am in the morning and 5-8pm in the afternoon.. and has classes in between..

i think thats just amazing.. its takes alotta dicipline and strength to do what he does.. though there are some other malaysians who are shuffling 2 jobs as well.. but their all sponsored students.

and he always has a smile on his face when he works in the afternoon.. which i think is brilliant..

with people like that.. how can you not look up to them and work harder with whatever your currently doing..

to me.. not working means no shopping..to him it means no food..

so yea.. imma be strong and do the best i can to achieve my goals this year.. i will make 2007 as good as it was in 2005..

the antisocial weekend

HELLO!

roite, so today i'll be ranting about the most antisocial weekend i've ever had .. which was last weekend..

as i mentioned before in my previous post, most of my mates.. or should i say ALL of em left me alone on campus for a trip to wales..

those twats!

i know..

but well, cant help it if they've got money and i'm broke right.. everyman for himself :)

so yea, i didnt have work on the weekend .. which meaned i was moreless clueless and without any activity nor friends to hang out with. hence, i spent the most of the time downloading random movies, watching em and laughing all alone by my itty bitty self..

sad. yep!

what made it worst.. since most of the cooking material like chicken, rice and all those proper stuff are in one of my mates house.. i only had instants to eat.. so it was instant pizza's on saturday and pita bread wit sausages on sundayy.. by the end of sunday night i was sick of cheese.

awesome. oh yea !

my whole social interaction for the weekend were solely based on msn/ym chats..

that and oh...

'how much are these? great i'll take em..' conversation i had at the grocery store..

yes. it was a very pathetic weekend indeed..

i had all the time in the world that weekend.. with the sun setting at 4pm everyday.. i think i only get about 20 minutes of sunlight per day.. or somedays non at all.. if i kept on living like this, i'd turn into a vampire .. with pale skin and pointy nipples due to the temperature.

hahaha.

okay so i was a literal definition of slob or sloth. more towards sloth i'd reckon

Gridiron Gang:
a story about juvenile kids playing american football to be free again, it sort of like the longest yard .. but its based on actual events.. pretty good stuff. stars include 'The Rock' as the coach and Xzbit as the assistant coach.. good stuff, though i was having a hard time trying to digest 'The Rock' telling emo stories to Xzbit. come onn mannn.. those two jokers? emo? for realll? Bollocks maannn..

Crank:
this has got to be the most weird fast paced action movie evah. stars jason statham, if you guys dont know who this is, its the guy who starred in the transporter(utter crap mind you). the story is about jason statham as a hitman whos been poisoned, the only way to keep himself alive is to constantly pump adrenaline into his heart. meaning, he has to be running for hislife, speeding like a madman, getting high on drugs, aaaanddd.. having sex in the middle of chinatown.. hahahhaa.. good to watch with mates and not gf's..

Lakehouse:
kay first of all, i was running out of things to download.. soo yeaaa... but hey it was not bad actually. definitely wouldnt of watched it with a bunch of guys.. on a date perhaps.. but still, its a fantasy, wont happen. all is fake in the game of love. keanu reeves and sandra bollocks.

The Illusionst:
GOOD STUFF! starred edward norton as a magician who is in love with a noble girl, but the girl was promised to marry a wannabe crap emperor. kay i havent watched the prestige yet, so i dont know which would be better. but non the less, i'd reccomend anyone to watch this movie. dope.

kay actually, i cant remember what other movies i've watched. :P

then theres the standup comedy's.. imma sure most of you've heard of russel peters, he's good. no doubt. then theres pablo francisco, dope as well.. but lately, i've been downloading more english standups and i prefer em.. cus american standups tend to be more racist indirectly and its not entirely spontaneous.. anyways, my latest list of dope standups..

from the heavens to earth

wokay. so this is gonna be my first post for the year 2007, the previous one didnt count cus i was too lazy to write anything good. haha.

anyways, i havent been doing much of anything this week..

i got a job now.. its a part time job .. so imma be working 2 hours per day from monday to friday. their gonna pay me 6 quids per hour, so if you do the math .. that'll be 60 quids per week.. and about 240 quids per month if i dont skip any work.. :P

at first i was slightly shamed to tell people what imma be working as.. but i reckoned whats the point of keeping it a secret anyways. you twats are gonna find out, so might as well get it out there and over with.. imma working as a cleaner on campus.. cleaning offices .. yep, em wiping desks and vacuuming floors and shite.

some of ya might ask like why choose this job, cant i find a better job?

well, getting a job in the UK aint all that easy love..

thats lotsa protocols and things which you must have .. and em english are just fussy lil buggers. im thanking god that i got this job .. since its near(on campus) and the pay's pretty alrite. though i wouldnt mind more.. heh.

it took quite abit of getting used to at first.. cus to be frank, there are just times when i'm even too lazy to clean after myself. what else other people's shite.. plus i was used to working proper jobs, proper as in professional.

after a while, it slowly sanked in. i might've been someone huge in msia, with a good professional job, huge pay cheque and what not.. but here.. i'm a nobody.

i mean have you seen a future engineer cleaning your floor?

its sort of a self reflection moment, where you fall to your knee's and realize that your just a puny being in this huge world. that there are millions of bigger things than you.. there are even times when i wonder if i suddenly dissapeared, would the world even notice that i went missing..

but thats just that at the moment feeling lonely and depressed talk.. :P

i've scrapped my plans to go for internships during the summer..

cus i have a strong feeling that my results arent gonna be all so colourful.. so instead, imma be working for 2 months to earn me some hundred quids and spend the leftover month in msia with good ol mates and family.

theres something about this whole 2007 year which tells me that imma be having a challenging year to come.. i dont know what awaits.. but if its as interesting as em movies which are coming out during the summer.. sign me up. haha..

the new year

hey people,

sorry i havent blogged as i promised, in truth i am bad with promises.. esp when it comes to blogging. i have been taking pictures, just that it takes too long to load and edit each one of em..

i got a video i wanted to upload .. but it was 298megs and youtube only allows 100megs worth of vid. so i'll either scrap the whole idea or wait till i get a neat vid editing program to lessen the resolution or sumthing..

anyways,

i celebrated new years by watching fireworks at the london eye / waterloo. i was right in between the london eye and big ben.. the video would show proof but i havent uploaded it yet.. so.. yea..

i was on the bridge pretty early, expecting like millions of people to be there watching as well.. but ironically it wasnt so crowded.. breathable .. which was good. i later found out that the police had blocked off people from coming onto the bridge after we got on it.. explains alot..

the fireworks was only for 15 minutes sadly, it was soo short.. i was expecting least 20 minutes.. but the differ between fireworks in msia and here is that, here the fireworks have a certain flow to it.. big, small, spurts, bursts and what not.. so it was good non the less..

after the whole fireworks.. we were left in a blur.. cus we didnt actually plan where to go .. thus ended up walking around trying to find our other friends.. while walking, we kept on stepping and kicking on broken glass bottles on the road.. it was a real mess .. but everyone seemed to be having a good time..

in order to control the crowd.. the police diverted the crowd onto tube stations.. thus for us who were heading to centre london.. had to walk from waterloo station all the way to euston station .. before getting on the tube and heading back to my friends place..

earlier that day i played 2 hours worth of footie, hence when i got to my mates place, i was absolutely knackered.

yadayada... im to lazy to tell the rest.. hopefully within this week i'l post up em pictures.. if not.. HAHAHAHHHAA>.
