twas much scary back then..
stephen king's IT was on the tele last night.. but alas.. it didnt live up to my expectations..
mind you, this was the movie that made me crept into my parent's bedroom for 5 days straight when i watched it as a kid.. it didnt help either that i watched it with my sister on a stormy night with the lights off.
it was scary since stephen king turned a funny and goofy idol of kids into a monster.. it was pure genius! though after watching it again yesterday, the storyline didnt quite make sense .. then again there were quite a few parts which they cut .. probably because of that the finesse of the whole horror wasnt quite there.
what has happened to all the good ol scary movies?
nothing seems to be that scary anymore. even asian horror flicks are getting rather cliche with the ghost appearing white with heavy eye liners and creeping down from the attic. its getting so common its not scary anymore..
oh hello there. creeping under my sheets are you? mind keeping it down abit, am trying to get some shut eye here.. cheers.
ghost stories now lack a certain substance. though i know i am non the wiser in writing horror plots. but with western horror either showing too much graphics(cgi) or no ghost at all. whilst the asians make ghost who just have too much eye make up.
bah. i think i'm rambling now. haha.
off to do work now. tata.
