back from the dead

hello!

i'm back, it has been a while. yes, yes it certainly has. uni life has been tremendously hard and blimey time really passes quickly when you've got tonnes to do.

anyways, UK is pretty cold now gettin an average 0 celcius degree's half the time. its been like this for the past few weeks or so.. yes that also included the days when i stayed back in classrooms to study and come back at 4am absolutely freezing.


this was at 7 ish in the morning.

it was the morning of my C++ paper, determined hard work of continuous study till 4am and waking up again at 6.30am to continue since the paper was at 10.30am.

brilliant way to destroy your sleeping pattern and body, bad example on how to study effectively.

this is the drug which most students here live on during study week, i reckon the shop on campus are makin a proper fortune from sellin these addictions. heh.

new theory:
genius's dont take coffee nor caffeine drinks.

confirmed when 2 of my most brilliant friends(mind you one from mechanical and another from EE) cant take coffee nor caffeine.

whilst me;
after the 3rd can of redbull, can still doze off easily.

okay probably best not to say that i'm stupid, but i reckon the brain works better in sponging information when it doesnt have any coffee nor caffeine. both elements of which i NEED during exams. hahaha.

oh well.

had a 3 day leadership course straight after my papers.

it was pretty good actually, minus the biggest screwup on the final and most important task. found out a few things about myself, that i'm an introverted thinker. my idea's do come when i'm alone and thinking by myself.

but the course also rekindled some memory's of handing groups on big tasks. we had this fella on our group, he was such an arse to deal with. he literally had a comment for every single thing we did. plus it wasnt exactly constructive comments, more towards, 'heres my idea, all yours are rubbish!' even when everyone else had agreed on the best solution.

anyways, i know this post is still lacking that extra zest. i'll find it soon enough. gimme time and i'll make sure i get my hits back :)
