why bother?

i dont wanna sound like a selfish prick.

but there are days when i wonder why i even bother putting up with people.

its not like i'm getting anything back in return(no pun intended).

somehow that just doesnt cut it anymore. as the word 'friends' is being overrated and overused.

if being friends is just having someone to talk to, then what happens when theres nothing left to talk about.

shall we just dance the silent dance and pretentiously move on with our lives?

perhaps i shall just leave you to dance alone.
