god is in your tv

i just spent the afternoon trying to tune into something interesting on tv. sadly i gotta say, theres absolutely nothing good on tv. gees, i'm paying 80 bucks each month for astro and their not showing anything good. even with almost 100 channels. do we need more ? where have all the good shows gonee? its not to say that astro is actually showing latest programms either.

meh.

so pretty much my whole afternoon was filled with outdated, cheesy program acted out by ugly people they call actors?

recently a friend of mine said something about a new talent-search show going on called 'blast-off'. nvr actually had time to watch it, till just..

my thoughts;

the crowd mostly cheer for songs which were overly-played on hitz.fm. coincidence perhaps since that the show was showing on hitz.tv?

i think not.

seriously, i've notice that hitz.fm's playlist keeps on repeating like every 15 minutes or so. one good song comes out and they overplay it till my ears bleed. for a person who doesnt actually listen to hip-hop. i've actually memorized the starting part of usher & a. keys - my boo. believe me when i say it wasnt intentional.

gees.

perhaps my sense for music has gotten alot narrow since i started college. but still, i think its injust that we have to listen to 1 record like a gazillion times just because it is a hit.


gotta admit tho. hiphop has gotten real huge over the past few years. what happened to the rest? fuck self-proclaimed rock bands who actually play pop music.

club music in KL is still the same the last time i went about. still the mainstream of house/trance/techno/hiphop. but gotta say recent introduction of dnb and breakbeat is good news. bring on garage and other stuff.

well thats from my point o view. my days of weekly clubbing has stopped for the moment.
